  • No it wasn't. Even though I agree that something should be done. These people did not have an effect on the policy. About a week later, Ireland sent another ship through the blockade and was boarded and taken to port by Israel. Just like the others. Israel has nobody to obey.

  • Here's some food for thought. The flotilla incident: Israel is illegally enforcing a blockade in international waters. (As if "illegal" means anything by international standards) Let no misconceptions be made, the activists knew they were going into this blockade.

  • Very interesting indeed. There are many uses it could serve immediately, but remember, the first passenger airlines were shakey at best with technological details being hammered out as they went. It wasn't a widely excepted means of transportation then either.

  • Yeah, so then about 1 in every 6 people you come across had the swine flu this year? Riiight. One article I read towards the end of last year said that the regular flu was non existent in the hospitals. That 99% of the cases that came into  the hospitals were found to be the swine flu.

  • I fail to see AGAIN how policy can be changed because of such an isolated incident. Perhaps they could add a rule that if another 9/11ish incident happens, the students are allowed to text their little hearts out? Seriously, these aren't very realistic suggestions. Glad your friends mother is ok.
